Boundary XYQ

Survey boundary tracking that works like a field map first.

Boundary XYQ is an iPhone-first field-planning app for survey crews. It imports CSV points and DXF linework, shows them on an Apple Maps basemap, tracks found status, and gives advisory coordinate-geometry relationship guidance while the crew works.

Field contract

No login is required.

No advertising SDKs or tracking SDKs are used.

CSV and DXF files stay local unless the user intentionally exports or emails them.

Location is used on device for the blue-dot map overlay.

Boundary XYQ is decision support, not a legal boundary determination.

Workflow

Built for the way crews already work.

Boundary XYQ is not meant to replace the data collector or a licensed surveyor. It gives the rest of the crew a shared, low-friction field map for tracking search progress and seeing relationship changes.

Import the job

Open CSV point files and DXF linework from Files, Mail, Outlook, or the iOS share sheet. Boundary XYQ keeps drafts local so a second file can be added later.

Work from the map

The field view starts with the map, the blue-dot position, point labels, linework, and a fast tap target for Found, Found disturbed, and Not found.

Watch relationships change

As points are marked, the app recalculates advisory green, yellow, and red geometry value so crews can see what has become less useful to search.

Review posture

Advisory field intelligence, not legal certification.

Boundary XYQ colors and relationship guidance are planning aids. Final boundary decisions remain with the survey company, licensed professional surveyor, job requirements, office review, and applicable law.
